Dr. James Block was born in Washington Hospital right here in Fremont, CA. He was raised in Fremont, as well, attending Chadbourne Elementary School, Hopkins Junior High, and Mission San Jose High School. Dr. Block is a third geneation dentist in Fremont.
Between his grandfather, father and himself, they are proud to have delivered 60 years of quality dentistry to Fremont and the Tri-Cities.
Dr. Block graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1988. He was on the dental school faculty for two years after graduation. Dr. Block came back to his hometown in 1990 and started his practice at that time.

Dr. Block is an avid rock climber, mountaineer, mountain & road cyclist and trail mountain runner. He and his wife Karin, share in these outdoor activities.
They have four kids ages 20, 16,16, & 12.
